Heavy haul tracks: The products the company developed used in the Datong-Qinhuangdao railway made important contributions to improve the heavy rail transport technology.
The Datong-Qinhuangdao railway, known as China¡¯s leading heavy haul track, has a steady gain in traffic in recent years. In 2011 transportation weights have reached 400 million tons, for 2012 it is estimated to exceed 500 million tons. During onsite testing, the turnout no. 75-12 and 75-18 developed by our company has passed a total weight of 400 million tons. Besides of greatly reducing the maintenance workload onsite, it also extended the lifetime of several equipments and therefore saved a considerable amount of maintenance and repair costs.
